Your generosity can change a teacher’s and a child’s life.
Due to budget cuts in various education programs along with the rising cost of living it is often challenging to have basic school supplies. Teachers do their best with the limited resources given to them. Parents, too, scramble to ensure that their child(ren) have what they need for a successful school year.
This year NAB is partnering with three schools in The Bahamas: Cooper’s Town Primary, Grand Bahama; The Beacon School, Grand Bahama, and Fox Town Primary, Abaco to help them have the resources they need.
How your gift makes a difference:
- Self-esteem matters in the lives of both students and teachers from these communities because they can attend school with all the tools they need to succeed.
- Your donation can help to strengthen family bonds and provide relief and peace of mind for those in need.
- It can help open the doors of opportunity for students as they grow and may want to experience additional educational prospects. Teachers also know they can give their best without them thinking about where the next pen or paper is coming from.
This partnership will not happen without you. You can give your gift online or bring it (donation or school supply) with you at our annual picnic to be held on August 20, 2023 between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Amelia Earhart Park, Hialeah, FL 33013. Ticket information is below.
